Surprisingly very good food here and great drinks. One of our favorite spots in Mammoth. Highly recommended.

Okay we had to come here twice during our Mammoth Lakes trip, we loved the Hawaiian pizza so much! If you’re a Hawaiian pizza eater, definitely stop in to try it. It comes with not only pineapple, but also mandarin (which sounds a little odd) but it seriously was delicious. I also ordered a house made ranch to dip (iykyk) and wow I could have eaten 3 of these. My husband went with the tacos, which were very good. The second time we came here, we decided to try some of their drinks and were not disappointed! The espresso martini was great. And the old fashioned was good too. Ordered the cake with ice cream for dessert, was good (maybe better for vanilla lovers though). On top of great food, you also get an awesome atmosphere at this place. It’s right in town, and they have a lot of open air seating so you can enjoy the local music and people watch. Very cool place, definitely best food we had in Mammoth.

Non-contact restaurant, however you may order at the counter if you like. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and we had to return Tuesday for tacos! Great cocktails and an excellent environment.

What a fun evening with family, live local music, and of course, our drinks! Located just inside the Village and right next to the open plaza, the interior design, and energy will draw you in, and just maybe...won't let you go! What a cool place to hang out, meet some locals, share a conversation, or just enjoy their wonderful cocktails! All 3 of us were pleasantly surprised with just how good they were. So good, we ordered another round...and a bottle to go

Great drinks, huge selection of locally brewed beer right in the Center of The Village! Really nicely done out beer hall with many lagers, IPAs and ciders. Lovely staff with food options too. We went at the end of ski season but it was still by far the busiest place. Great spot if you are local.

Phenomenal cocktails and fantastic food. Everything I had here was delicious. The service was great and atmosphere was electric on a Sunday. I have zero complaints about this spot, will absolutely be back!

Probably one of the best drinking/eating establishments in the area. The set up is pretty cool with hardcore industrial vibes, as is their playlist :) Drinks are awesome (the prickly pear daiquiri was the best daiquiri I ever had) and despite being a respectable distillery they also serve cider and beer. The food is pretty decent too (we had tacos 3 ways and shishito peppers). Plus their outdoor patio is dog and kid friendly in the summer months (no high chairs for toddlers though). Prices seem reasonable and staff is on top of their game. We didn’t have to wait for our food/drinks at all as it all came out pretty quickly but the place was almost employable given it was 4pm on a Thursday. Also looks like most of the one star reviews from previous years are related to the staff not being responsive and fast enough when patrons walk in. Well, they solved that problem by enabling ordering via QR code right at the table. All in all, a great hangout, well above other food/drink places in Mammoth Village.

Super fun atmosphere! Loved watching the brewing/distilling happen while eating. The food was great. Flights were fun. Service was fast, but you order completely on your phone and I wanted to ask questions about the drinks. More efficient for sure, but not as personal. The Mexican pizza, cheese curds, grilled cheese, and French dip were amazing! A must try in Mammoth!

Nestled at 100 Canyon Blvd, this inviting venue has quickly become a local favorite for both residents and visitors alike. The atmosphere buzzes with life, featuring open-air seating perfect for enjoying the melodic strains of local music while observing the energetic pulse of the village.

As I stepped inside, I was greeted not just by the cheerful staff, but by the alluring aroma of their unique dishes. Shelter Distilling is not merely a place to grab a drink; it offers a menu that pleases the palate and surprises the senses. The reviews from patrons echo a common theme: the food is outstanding. For instance, Brooklyn Simmons couldn’t resist returning for their signature Hawaiian pizza, a delightful concoction featuring pineapple and the unexpected twist of mandarin. This combination, though unconventional, resonates beautifully with those who appreciate the balance of sweet and savory.

But the appeal doesn’t stop there. Their menu showcases an array of tantalizing options, including well-loved tacos that Rosa Palella described as deserving a repeat visit. Each dish comes paired with an impressive selection of cocktails. Richard Ward highlights the fun atmosphere complemented by expertly crafted beverages, like the intriguing espresso martini and the classic old fashioned—both of which left him enthusiastically ordering more. Seriously, can you blame him?
